Dear Industry Partners,

On behalf of the International Cytokine & Interferon Society (ICIS), we invite your company to partner with us and support the Cytokines 2023: 11th Annual Meeting of the International

Cytokine & Interferon Society to be held in Greece, on October 15-18, 2023 at the Divani Caravel Hotel in Athens, a spectacular location very close to the City Center.

This is the premier international meeting on ‘Cytokines’ that takes place worldwide and is regularly attended by more than 700 participants. The 11th edition comes at a time where cytokine biology, cytokine biomarkers and cytokine therapeutics are revolutionizing modern medicine, providing novel treatments for a wide variety of diseases ranging from lethal inflammatory, autoimmune and allergic diseases, to viral infections and cancer. This year’s theme is “Cytokines and interferons in the precision medicine era”, focusing on the latest developments on cytokine biology in relation to immune regulation, host damage and disease, and the latest progress on cytokines/cytokine inhibitors as novel therapeutics in the clinic.

A variety of topics will be covered by leaders in the field in the plenary and parallel sessions, from innate immunity and host defense to adaptive immunity and vaccination and from cancer immunotherapy to novel therapeutics in autoimmunity. The poster sessions will be the place for ample discussions and for sharing ideas. Since a major goal of the meeting is to promote interactions between scientists and clinicians working in basic, translational or applied research, ample opportunity will be given to network with colleagues and to present the latest technologies related to cytokine research, biomarkers and therapeutics.

We are therefore looking forward to partnering with your company at the Cytokines 2023 Meeting to address the role of cytokines and interferons in the precision medicine era, discuss the most recent developments, educate researchers on the various tools and technologies available, and foster collaborations between industry, academia and trainees, ultimately benefitting patients’ healthcare worldwide.

Yours sincerely,

Evangelos Andreakos, PhD, Biomedical Research Foundation, Academy of Athens, Greece, Program Chair
